Ginger health benefits :-

 Some people do not want their tongue to have taste of ginger but the importance of ginger in health can not be neglected. The best way to stay healthy is to stick to our old food plan and consume the spices which have both nutritional and medicinal values. Speaking of spices- ginger is the king of all spices. 

The spice that we use as ginger is actually the underground rhizome root of the original ginger plant. Scientifically known as Zingiber officinale, the plant derives its botanical name from the Sanskrit word ‘singabera’ owing to its horn shaped structure and its given physical appearance.

 Ginger is called the king of spices due to its vast array of nutritional values. It also has numerous medicinal qualities for which it has been revered since ancient days of kings and queens.

     It is advised to get the fresh ginger if possible, rather than going for the dried variety available in the market as it is found out that the dry variety loses certain amount of nutrient while the storage processing.
